LEARNING FROM LORD HANUMAN-RAMAYANA

During such gloomy days of COVID-19, the best part is that we all are refreshing our knowledge about Hindu Religion. Watching Ramayana is really soothing and full of learnings too.

THE SCENE

Yesterday, I was watching Ramayana where the Lord Laxmana got fainted when Meghnatha attacked Him and everyone was clueless including the Lord Rama that how His life brought back and it appeared wisdom left everyone in the darkness due to paucity of time. Then amongst all, it was only the Lord Hanuman who were actively focussing on Solution problem . Without wasting time, he rushed to Lanka to bring सुषेण वैद्य to cure  the Lord Laxmana. Though वैद्य सुषेण knew how to treat Lord Laxmana but he himself did not have that herb "Sanjeevani" and that was the time when all were helpless and swallowed this fact that it is impossible to recover Lord laxmana now. But, Lord Hanuman asked सुषेण वैद्य if there is a herb then what is the problem? सुषेण वैद्य replied in a grimmed voice that Hanuman the herb is in mountain sumeru (in Himalayas) which is too far and bring it here is next to impossible because Lord Laxmana needed the herb before rise of the Sun.

But, there is no word like impossible in Lord Hanuman Dictionary and He went to mountain sumeru at a speed of light and came back in time. Though this journey was not a cake walk for Lord Hanuman because Ravana tried everything to stop Him but Lord Hanuman is "Vayu Putr" (Vayu means Air & Putr means Son), so He was unstoppable. And, this is how He along with सुषेण वैद्य saved the Lord Laxman life.

LEARNINGS!

If we observed this scene then we may understand that skill does not matter but intention to solve the problem does. सुषेण वैद्य did at which he had mastery. Had the Lord Hanuman not brought the herb, सुषेण वैद्य could not be of much help. But, the Lord Hanuman who did not know even the ABC of आयुर्वेद  managed to save the Lord Laxmana life. That's why we call Him संकट मोचन !

In similar way, we also perplex when we witness unprecedented situations in our life. But, if we have intention, and fight against the problem in best possible manner then nothing can defeat us.

I think we all must have thought of one question that what is the purpose of this life? Each person answers this question very differently. It is human tendency to compare ourselves . But have you ever thought whether your game is similar to their game. Certain people are made for certain work, this we must understand.  Let's understand this by example: certain people do good when rules of the same are decided by people like in a school.
