The Confidence Code: Crack It and Conquer Your World
Confidence is one of the biggest assets for any human to unleash full potential. Confidence is crucial part of our personality. And, this personality is built through belief system over long period of time by education, childhood experiences, our environment etc. It may be possible you have developed a wrong belief system through wrong external stimulus but good news is that you can change it. So, let's learn how to build confidence.
First, act as if
If I want to become efficient speaker, then act, behave, walk, speak, meet like an efficient speaker or greatest communicator. First, I choose to treat me like that before world treats. So, I raise my thoughts frequency to that level 📈. My this behavior leads to neuroplasticity. How does that work - initially brain would create resistance then slowly it starts creating new neurons patterns which resembles pattern of great communicators. This helps me to change my belief system.
Second, body activation
Body motions creates body emotions. I get to give signals to my brain that I am great speaker. It may include +ve mindset, energetic body language, good posture. Over the period of time. it will become habit pattern.
Third, comparison resistance
I choose not to compare myself with anyone else. I compare myself with my previous version.
Fourth, debate
I ask questions to know the things as it is. When I question the existing things, it helps me to understand the situation more clearly.
Fifth, expose yourself
I constantly expose myself to discomfortable situation to get myself accustomed to new experience. These new experiences builds confidence. I do not afraid to sound dumb because I do not care what others people think about myself. Sometime, I feel numb in new situation; in that case I write it down my feelings what corrective action I can take next time to avoid that numbness.
