Lack of money makes you unhappy...?

Lack of money makes you unhappy, no doubt. But, money alone also can't make you happy, for sure. Peace of mind 🧠 is very core of happiness. But... We people throughout our life keep accumulate money and (through money) other material things. And, to achieve this... we keep ourselves busy 🏃. Business rob our peace of mind. And, to overcome this... We indulge in every activities available under sun -  sports, sex, adventurous sports, and what not. We consider this as a proxy for peace of mind but in reality what we find is - peace from mind . Our mind is monkey 🐒 - a restless, always chattering. There are ways to find peace of mind if we understand and see things clearly and go with clarity 👓  hurry ; we do find peace of mind and happiness. Don't consider this note that I am saying money is sin. Earn hell amount of money 🤑 but go with clarity. Happy learning! Rohit Kumar, a lifelong learner.

WE ARE JUST A SPECK OF DUST...

I think we all must have thought of one question that what is the purpose of this life? Each person answers this question very differently. Also, answer varies at which stage of life that person is, like youngster defines this as being successful or achieve or accumulate material wealth. But before giving much weightage to any single answer, let's understand other aspect beyond our physical existence. We live on this earth which is one of the tiny planet in our galaxy (milkyway) which is itself one of the billion galaxies in this universe. The life on earth is coincidence otherwise a little less or more distance from Sun would have made temprtaure more hot or cold and there would be no life. If Jupitor alignment is not what it is then so many asteroid would have hit earth. Nobody knows why it is so but this is what it is. But what we could say that it is chain of innumerable of events happened in past which made life on earth possible. Again, come to our question - what is purpose

KNOW YOUR GAME

It is human tendency to compare ourselves . But have you ever thought whether your game is similar to their game. Certain people are made for certain work, this we must understand.  Let's understand this by example: certain people do good when rules of the same are decided by people like in a school. In school, you are judged solely on the basis of your performance given in those standard 3 hours examination which are framed by one human for another to judge his or her skills. Few people perform better under this game but few fail. I would call this as finite game, where person actually know in advance what is his or her competition, sound simple. Isn't it? But in reality life does not work like this. There is no question paper, no predetermined rules and you are not aware with whom you are competing. This is what I would call as infinite games. Business is the best example to understand infinite games. In business, you do not know how long you will survive, what will be the fa

THE BOOKS I READ SO FAR AND LEARNING

It is said that readers are the leaders or vice a versa. I have too very bad addiction of reading because I love to read books ranges from legal, motivation, self-help and skills related. I have read many books which I am listing here for those who may have similar liking for books, and also mentioned what I learnt from those books. So, here you go: 1. Biography of Chanakya : I think Chanakya needs no introduction at least in India. When I read about his life I learnt that how you can convert insult into fire and transform that for your good. 2. The Secret : This is also one of the famous books people have read so far across the globe. And I must mentioned that this is one of the most misunderstood books. The theme of the book is how you can think of positive affirmations and get the real result; but readers have taken this message so literally that they start doing funny things. So, as per my opinion one must not read this book at a very young age. 3. Rich Dad and Poor Dad : This is

LEARNING FROM LORD HANUMAN-RAMAYANA

Image
During such gloomy days of COVID-19, the best part is that we all are refreshing our knowledge about Hindu Religion. Watching Ramayana is really soothing and full of learnings  too. THE SCENE Yesterday, I was watching Ramayana where the  Lord Laxmana  got fainted when Meghnatha attacked Him and everyone was clueless including the  Lord Rama that how His life brought back and it appeared wisdom left everyone in the darkness due to paucity of time. Then amongst all, it was only the  Lord Hanuman who were actively focussing on Solution problem  . Without wasting time, he rushed to Lanka to bring सुषेण वैद्य to cure  the Lord Laxmana. Though  वैद्य  सुषेण knew how to treat Lord Laxmana but he himself did not have that herb " Sanjeevani " and that was the time when all were helpless and swallowed this fact that it is impossible to recover Lord laxmana now. But, Lord Hanuman asked  सुषेण वैद्य if there is a herb then what is the problem?  सुषेण वैद्य replied in a grimmed voice

FOLLOW YOUR PASSION

This post you may relate to anything be it your job or education. These days whenever a person starts doing something, then he or she already under tremendous pressure or anxiety because most people already doing the same thing and declare that thing difficult. But  if you observe them, then you will find that less than 1% of such people are passionate about that job or course. Most of the time especially in India we want to pursue something else but due to society or parents' pressure, we end up doing something which is not very close to our heart. As a result, you always find yourself under pressure and trying to push yourself to complete that job or course. We always have a fear of losing a bus if we do something unconventional because since our childhood we are taught that if you complete your education then everything will be alright, then once you get a job then you will be happy, then once you marry then you will be happy and so on. You have been told to have such st
